    Introduction to Deola Taluka

    Deola is a taluka located in Nashik district, known for its natural beauty. This taluka was formed on 26th June 1999. Some villages from Malegaon Kalwan and Baglan (Satana) talukas were combined to create the independent taluka of Deola.
    Deola taluka consists of 42 Gram Panchayats and 49 revenue villages.

    There are major onion markets in Deola and Umarane, and several private markets also operate in the taluka. Other crops grown include wheat, millet, maize, and various vegetables.


    3. Political Information

    • Chandvad Assembly Constituency (No. 118) is one of the 288 constituencies of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
    • According to the Delimitation Order 2008, the Chandvad Assembly Constituency includes Deola and Chandvad talukas of Nashik district.
    • Chandvad Assembly Constituency falls under the Dindori Lok Sabha Constituency.

    Health Department Schemes

    The National Health Mission (NHM) implements various health-related schemes through the Public Health Department across the entire operational area.

    1. Navsanjeevani Programme

    Maternity Incentive Scheme

    Under this scheme, pregnant women from Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe who deliver at the Sub-centre receive ₹400 as maternity incentive.

    Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY)

    • First pregnancy: Benefit of ₹5,000 in two installments:
      • Stage 1: If the pregnant woman registers within 6 months → ₹3,000
      • Stage 2: After delivery & completion of the child’s primary vaccination → ₹2,000
    • If the second child is a girl, the full amount ₹6,000 is given in one installment after primary vaccination.

    NCD Programme

    To control non-communicable diseases, the Deola Taluka runs surveys, screening and treatment for:

    • Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
    • Diabetes
    • Cancers: Oral, Cervical, Breast

    Family Welfare Programme

    Under the National Family Welfare Programme, incentives are given for sterilization operations in government institutions:

    • SC/ST women: ₹600
    • Other women: ₹250

    Routine Immunization Programme

    1. Amrut Aahar Scheme

    • Stage 2: Pregnant & lactating women in tribal areas receive one-time nutritious food.

    Housing Schemes (घरकूल योजना)

    Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)

    Selection based on socio-economic status. Benefit ₹1,20,000 + NREGA wages ₹28,000 + Swachh Bharat ₹12,000 for toilet.

    Ramai Awas Yojana

    For SC / Neo-Buddhist beneficiaries. Similar benefits as PMAY.

    Shabari Awas Yojana

    For SC beneficiaries. Annual income limit ₹1,00,000.

    Modi Awas Yojana

    For other backward categories in rural areas.

    Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya (PDU) Scheme
