    English Translation:

    Nashik is a city located in the northern part of Maharashtra. Nashik is one of the fastest-developing cities in India. It is a major industrial center and an important hub for the automobile industry. Nashik is the fourth largest city in Maharashtra. Situated on the Sahyadri plateau, the city has an approximate population of 1,400,000. Nashik city serves as the administrative headquarters of the Nashik Division, Nashik District, and Nashik Taluka.

    Marathi is the primary language spoken here. Nashik is a famous pilgrimage center located on the banks of the Godavari River. To the south of Nashik city are the Trirashmi Buddhist Caves, while to the north are the Chambhar Caves and Ramshej Fort. Trimbakeshwar is located about 35 km to the west of Nashik. Nashik district is known for the production of grapes and onions. Along with this, Nashik is also becoming famous for wine production. Therefore, Nashik and the surrounding region are now popularly known as the “Wine Capital of India.” The world’s first and largest earthen dam, the Gangapur Dam, is located in Nashik district. Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) is also located in Nashik. On the Nashik–Mumbai highway, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has developed a new area of the city known as CIDCO. Similar to Mumbai and Pune, the Nashik Metropolitan Region Development Authority has also been established here.

    Panchavati is also a part of Nashik. By visiting the religious places in Nashik, one can understand the importance of ancient history. Nashik is considered one of the most important pilgrimage centers in Maharashtra. The Godavari River originates at Trimbakeshwar near Nashik. The Goda Ghat in Nashik is well known. Nashik is home to the Kalaram Temple. During the Peshwa period, the city gained special religious significance. Nashik is especially famous for its copper and brass utensils.     Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Agricultural Self-Reliance Scheme
    This scheme is implemented for beneficiaries belonging to the Scheduled Castes. Under this scheme, the following benefits are mainly provided:

    Birsa Munda Agricultural Revolution Scheme (Within Area / Outside Area)
    This scheme is implemented for beneficiaries belonging to the Scheduled Tribes. The following benefits are provided:

    Terms and Conditions:

    • The farmer must possess a valid caste certificate issued by a competent authority (SC/ST).
    • Minimum land holding: 0.40 hectare; Maximum: 6.00 hectares.

    District Council Cess Scheme

    • 50% or limited subsidy for purchase of agricultural implements and seeds through DBT.
    • Subsidy for biogas plants under the National Biogas Development and Manure Management Programme.

    Housing Schemes – Panchayat Samiti, Nashik

    Ramai Awas Yojana

    Implemented for Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhists.

    Eligibility:

    • Beneficiary approved by Gram Sabha.
    • No permanent house.
    • No prior benefit from any housing scheme.
    • Monthly income less than ₹10,000.
    • Ownership of land or consent letter required.

    Benefits:

    • ₹1,20,000 for house construction (paid in three installments).
    • ₹24,600 as wage assistance (₹246 per day for 90 days).

    Installments:

    • First: House sanctioned
    • Second: Plinth level
    • Third: Lintel level
    • Final: On completion
